Abstract	The implant supported full arch fixed restoration is frequently chosen by the prosthodontist as the treatment of choice in the rehabilitation of the edentulous patient. These types of prostheses are not without failures and their retrieval, when cement retained, present a complex clinical situation. Conservative retrieval is preferred to eliminate the need to fabricate an entirely new provisional full arch prosthesis. A case is presented of a patient with 9 dental implants supporting a maxillary full arch fixed prosthesis made of a zirconia substructure with individually cemented lithium disilicate crowns covering all screw access channels. The patient requested that the prosthesis be remade because they disliked the unaesthetic gingival contours and shade. The crown at #2 was also missing. All 9 implants were not visibly parallel and presented with unpredictable screw channel locations. A technique is described where a cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) of the patient, a standard tessellation language (STL) file of the existing prosthesis, and implant planning software were utilized to fabricate screw channel access guides. The guides were used to conservatively retrieve the prosthesis and allow it to serve as a provisional restoration of the edentulous maxilla.
